Sales Manager – Edmonton Division

Reporting to the Vice President, the Sales Manager is responsible for the leadership of the Edmonton Sales Team within Rohit Communities. The Sales Coach trains, mentors, and manages the performance of the Sales Team to successfully achieve corporate goals and sales targets.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through Rohit’s Sales Team (Area Sales Managers, Sales Associates) and meeting company goals and targets.
  • Developing and motivating the Sales Team through mentoring, skills’ development, and product knowledge development.
  • Accountable for the planning, recruitment, direction, organization, and retention of Area Sales Managers to accomplish specific objectives.
  • Ensuring a consistent delivery of Customer Care, as well as defining and meeting customer care objectives in coordination with the leadership team.
  • Assessing customer satisfaction levels via customer surveys.
  • Monitoring the progress of sales and absorption of products within the regions.
  • Performing regular product tours and audits and maintaining competitive product knowledge.
  • Making pricing and product recommendations.
  • Assisting Rohit’s marketing department in the design and development of retailing plans.
  • Addressing escalated customer concerns.
  • Advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track-record of managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, results-orientated, and successful sales team.
  • Completion of university degree in Business, or equivalent; or a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Sales and Marketing Manager role.
  • Experience in business to end-user retail sales.
  • Experience with strategic planning and the ability to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate dynamic teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Confident and personable with a passion for sales and customer service.
  • Results-orientated and able to work independently.
  • Creative “out-of-box” thinking towards problem solving.
  • Able to manage multiple projects on tight timeframes.
  • Able to participate and facilitate group meeting with both senior executives and sales teams.
  • Able to recruit, train, and motivate staff.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.
