Land Development Administrator – Edmonton Division 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports the Administration Supervisor through:

  • Administration and Coordination of Lot Sales; inbound calls, emails, sending information, coordination on lot sales, administration of purchase agreements, tracking of lot defaults and payment schedules.
  • Acting as a main point of contact for builders and the general public; answering questions about our land development communities. Addressing builder and homeowner concerns. Working with Project Managers to find and implement appropriate resolution.
  • Working with Divisional Accountants and Project Managers to reconcile builder accounts and release builder deposits, administer the back-charge process and collect on invoices.
  • Maintaining databases of builder damage deposits, back charges, and deposit releases.
  • Completing data entry tasks related to market lot pricing as well as builder information and activities.
  • Maintaining LotWorks program with current lot pricing, lot information as well as approval of holds and sales within the system.
  • Working with the legal department to review and approve requests for discharges and postponements to caveats registered by Rohit Land Development.
  • Actively communicating with builders on general performance, concerns and marketing initiatives. Communicating key information back to the Land Development Team.
  • Assisting in the implementation and turnover of Home Owner Associations.

Supports the Operations Manager through:

  • Managing administrative functions related to the project lifecycle including: project set up, project execution and project wrap up.
  • Following up on on-site issues related to obtaining FAC from the municipality which may require working directly with contractors and engineers.
  • Maintaining database of CCC / FAC certificates and timelines. Updating builder groups and other key stake holders as requested.
  • Completing regular site visit to keep up to date with current happenings in all subdivisions including but not limited to: site cleanliness, builder compliance with Rohit Land Development best practices, attendance at engineering walkthroughs, attendance at curb side chats with builder groups, signage reviews etc. Understand, review and provide valuable feedback on community Architectural Guidelines.

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years in progressive administrative role or a background in entry level project management
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Education related to construction or business management preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful and thorough
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience managing and operating in large data tables
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft office products
  • Ability to learn new concepts and software programs with ease
  • Willingness to learn key functions of all business areas
  • Legal or conveyancing background could also be considered an asset
